Introduction Story

Welcome to Addah, Where street food feels like home
Our story began in Devon, Chicago, at our family restaurant, Usmania. While working there, our team dreamed of creating something special. A place that brings the lively streets of Pakistan and India to America.
During our visits to Pakistan, we were inspired by the bustling chai dhabas, the aroma of freshly fried bun kabobs, and the tangy burst of pani puri and chaat. These moments reminded us of home, and we wanted to share that feeling with everyone who misses it.
That’s how Addah was born—a place where you can experience the flavors and vibes of Pakistan and India. Whether you’re reminiscing about home or exploring something new, Addah is here to welcome you and your family.

I stopped by Adda in Lombard after hearing a lot of buzz about their authentic Chola Poori, and it was a bit of a mixed bag, though mostly positive.
The Chola and Halwa were definitely the stars of the show—absolutely delicious and lived up to the hype. However, the Poori fell a little short of expectations; it didn't quite have 'handmade' feel and could have been better executed. The Tea was decent, providing a standard finish to the meal.
Overall, it’s a great spot if you’re craving high-quality Chole and Halwa, paired with a fair Poori

Absolutely fantastic food! The flavors were rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced—every dish tasted freshly prepared with high-quality ingredients.

Portions were generous, presentation was thoughtful, and everything arrived hot and on time.

Service was friendly and attentive, and the staff was happy to explain dishes and customize spice levels. The atmosphere was warm and inviting.

Easily one of the best Indian meals I’ve had in the area. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back

We went here for halwa puri and it was pretty good. I loved the halwa because it wasn’t too sweet. We also ordered veggie samosas and chicken puff. Samosas were tasty but chicken puff was just ok. Service was exceptional and the restaurant space is beautiful. We’ll definitely dine here again! A+++

Addah – “Where Street Food Feels Like Home”

Addah has quickly become one of my favorite spots for Indian street food. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm smile and a welcoming vibe that makes you feel at ease. The staff are attentive, helpful, and genuinely care about your experience.

The food lives up to the promise: crisp, flavorful fries, Papri Chaat that’s fresh and tangy, and portions that leave you satisfied. The atmosphere strikes a great balance between casual and inviting, making it just as good for a quick bite as for sitting down with family or friends.

Delicious food, friendly service, and a cozy ambiance—Addah really delivers on its tagline: street food that feels like home. Highly recommended!
